Try doing a search on here. Its been covered many times and their is alot of info on it.
Basicaly the overal length of the firearm from back to front has to be 26 inches or greater.
But if its smaller wouldnt that just make it restricted.. I did search allot of people just say nope cant do it
and for the charger idea I was thinking about that but I wasnt sure if it would fit into the stock..
ands its a pistal so its limited to 10 rds..
In the configuration you mentioned it would be restricted, but the mags don't have to be limited to 10 rounds, they are for a .22 rifle, no limit, you can use a 50 round drum if you want to.
well if I took the stock off the gun it can still fire so wouldnt that make it illegal?
my 10/22 with 18.5" sporter barrel is less than 26" from back of receiver to end of barrel. A folding stock has to add length behind the receiver to keep it legal with the stock barrel. you could make up for it with a flash hider, compensater, w.h.y. on a threaded short barrel.
Flash hiders, even welded on does not count towards OAL anymore.

You may be right, I'll try emailing the cfc for their answer.(which may be correct or not, who knows)Doesn't that only apply when measuring barrel length for reg purposes?
i want a barrel that just goes over the legnth of the stok a little bit I want to do it basicly for looks but I was wondering how would you get it classed I know you can do it though but they have to see it..
