howa axiom

Has anyone here shot a howa axiom? If so, how good does it shoot? How much of a recoil diference does the axiom stock make? I looked at one and the dealer told me the stock had to be pinned to be brought into Canada, so it would not absorb any recoil.

That's wierd? I currently have one on my Remmy 700 in 308 and it feels like a 22 when shooting it.

My understanding on the stock was that to be allowed for import the stock requires a tool to collapse. (can't be a quick collapse)

Not mine. It just collapse like any other AR but stock. LAthough it did come with a check rest & pre-fitted recoil pad. Also mine is the atermarket Axiom stock on a Remington 700 S/A not the Howa Axiom out of the box model.
