I have one of these on the way. My Leupold Mark 4 8.5-25x50 is here and I wanted to know if anyone knows if MED PRW`s will work or I have to go for the High`s? Thanks in advance.

I have the BAT-S, same everything except butt stock.

I had to go to the High mount from Near manufacturing. But they dont offer a medium, just high/low. Scope: Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x50

The rail extends right out to the objective of the scope, so there is no "drop" like if using a standard rail down to the barrel. But, the provided rail is radially machined up along where the objective will be so it can sit "in" the rail slightly if needed.

Ok, so how do you like it? A mini review? A picture perhaps:cool:

That thread has pics.

I am very happy with the rifle thus far. Its more accurate than I am and has lots of adjustability to fit you good. You can see a baseline for my groups in the other thread, those were only at 50, but at 100 its really no different. Others who have sat behind it have commented on its comfort. No problems with several different types of ammo. To me personally, I think it looks great too. Its definitely not everyones cup of tea due to how it looks, but I think its great. My only issue with it, is, if you look at the thread I posted, you'll notice the forward/aft and vertical adjusting cheek piece. It slides along a small piccatiny rail, and the tolerances arent the tightest, so there is some side to side wiggle to it. Not a big deal, especially when your actually shooting, but its the only cheap feeling part of the rifle to me. Fixable by shimming the center slot in the rail though.

I added a Near manufacturing 1 piece mount, nightforce scope, and harris bipod. I actually have the rifle out now getting a paint job. Ive added upgraded legs to the harris bipod as well.

I believe you can build almost the same rifle with a savage barrelled action, and buying a stock which is almost the same (the name of it escapes me now), cheaper, but this is your one stop shop for that, and for ease, its what I did.
