Is norinco pride similar to ### pride ?

Be nice brother Some people chase around brand name, fit and finish and enjoy look at it after work at home, but some people enjoy to buy best bang of the buck work horse. A norinco 1911 is the ticket, for the price, I have no problem to tear it apart and start learn some 1911 simthing skills or modifcation. If I would have to get a 1911, I may go for the Norinco direction.

By the way nice gun and nice pics guys, keep coming!!!

Here`s my first norinco, I bought it on my birthday, march 11, It`s seen over 300 rounds through it, and I`ve started reloading for it also. This is my first try at making grips for it, I had some nice pieces of claro walnut just sitting around from my knife making days so I thought I`d give it a try, not quite finished fitting them yet.

Your claro slabs look gorgeous. Once given a nice soft sheen and glow from a few coats of oil they'll be amazing.
