What are you guys using for tents,...

I use lightweight backpack and extreme tents mostly, and have used quite a few...

I have these two, and so far...they have been more than satisfying..

For fall hunts, I have a 12x14 Wall tent and wood stove and chain saw when I have the time and something to pack it with, and a Kifaru tipi and ultralight wood stove and collapsable bow saw when I have to go light. Or a silicone-nylon tarp and belt hatchet if I'm really not planning to stay out, but it gives me the option.

i use a north face tree frog 24 if im gonna be humpin for more than 2 days if less i just pack the rain fly as it doubles as a tarp

for quad camping i just pack a 12x16 heavy tarp

here's the deluxe version, the wall tent

and the kifaru "8 man" tipi and ultralight stove, about right for three or four....

as my buddy demonstrates, one can be quite comfortable in a snowstorm beside a woodstove, even a very small one!

Sealhunter, who makes that green tent? I can't make out the label. I like the frame on the outside so you can pitch it fly first.

Cabelas Alaknak ll 12x12 complete with wood stove. I've had it for a couple of years now, easy for one person to set up. Most certainly not a back packers model but has room for 4 comfortably.

Small tent = having to go outside to change your mind.

I've got a tipitent outfitter. Sleeps four easily with cots and a Drolet Hunter stove. Sets up in less than 30 minutes and gives me lots of headroom as I'm 6'7" tall.

It packs down into a 30 lbs duffle, sits right on the front rack of the Kodiak.

This isn't my camp, but my tent will look something like this:

ATUK Alaskan 10' x 10', 2' wall, 7.5' centre

OK so they are REALLY big tents.

500 man camp Weatherhaven tent copies by an Alaskan supplier. Built in the Russian arctic, 250 km from the nearest town.

This is how they looked in the arctic summer.

And in the arctic spring.
