Best ranked? AE .22lr Win Wildcat Win HP CCI blazer

When all the other places run-out of ammo, WSS will be there for you to buy. Anyway we are still shooting CHEAP, 50 bullets for reloading your centerfire cost way more than 500 rounds of rimfire given the manufacturers mentioned, of course there are match rounds that are $20+ for a box of 50.

He's probably referring to Lapua, Eley, RWS, SK, Wolf Match, and also Federal Gold and Winchester Target.

Yes,,the above Manufacturers are correct, they are meant for target shooting. They have not given me good results on gophers, which is what I use my 22 LRs for, so groups vs gopher crawl downs... I opt for splat.

Agree, the AE 40 grain rock. I've had better luck with them on the long end than say less than 50 yards. 50 and below, the Win Super X HP's (LRH) have been good to me.

North pro in Saskatoon has blazers for $22.90 a brick. Really only place i could find them in bricks. I havnt used them but im going out next weekend :)
Also bought a shooters ridge mag loader :) :)

Kinda makes one wonder if Wholesale can do $20 then others are making a tidy profit by gouging.

I was in WSS in Calgary this afternoon. They are cleaned out of 525 bulk packs with no idea when more will show up. They did have IMR4064 powder, though, so I took 4lb. of that home instead.:D

My CIL 310 (Anschütz sporter) likes the American Eagle stuff just fine.

Federal

Hey guys,

Took out my new bolt action rifle to the range yesterday to see how she handles with each ammo.

I was surprised that the bulk pack AE 40 grain rounds rocked my world.
Second was the Winchester wildcats from canadian tire.
Third was the Winchester Super X hollow points.
4th was my CCI blazer
5th was the CCI CB shorts.......Damn they are quiet.

I want to try remington bulk pack but hear far too many horror stories.
What is every ones take on their favorite bulk pack or semi economical round?

I noticed after the barrel got really dirty ( 300 rnds ) all ammo tightened up and performed better.......all rounds were fired at 50 yards.
When I upped it to 75 yards, the Winchester super X HP really showed me what the deal was. But the best in both worlds was the AE 40 grn.
Very impressed.

Any one have a go at the bulk pack Federal stuff?

Thanks all.

I have 2 bulk packs, I will be trying them this sunday, I'll post my results.
I have used the CCI shorts and they work very well for being quiet.
The Remington subsonic HP are excellent for pesky pests but reasonable on report. So far the rem target loads have had three stoppages.
