I was trying to keep it a secret but since you guys keep harping my newest edition to the gun room will be from Target Sports:

Mossberg 590A1 SPX includes the following features-

-20 inch heavy barrel
-Steel trigger group & safety
-LPA Ghost ring Sights
-Rear Picatinny receiver rail (LPA Rear mounts on rail)
-MIL-Spec parkerized finish
-Synthetic stock & for-end
-Bayonet mount
-M9 Bayonet
-Ported Barrel

Have to take it easy on the buying so I will probably get it next month. :D

I convinced a buch of fuys from ESSA at the last IPSC 3 gun that the 590 A1 was the right choice for the Standard Manual Division. They are now known as "Team Mossberg"

I have a 590 A1 that I dressed up a bit

  • Side Saddle
  • Pic rail and LPA sights (the same ones that now come on the XPS)
  • Ace Delta Stock (M4 6 position)
  • Factory Heat shield that P&D someone mananged to install on the heavier barrell of the A1 without leaving a mark.

I fricken love that shotgun...

hhmmm...there seems to have been some Google Chrome html related error on my last post. What I actually typed was "7.62...and all the other fine folks at EESA are the best" I'll log a support call and let you know what I hear back...

Funny you mentioned those guys! LOL They were the first ones that opened my eyes to the 590. I participated in the Napanee shotgun shoot a while back and when "Storm and the crew" showed up they looked like a swat team. LOL They were amazing with the 590s that's for sure. I will have to get one of those t-shirts now....oh and the forearm shell carrier of course! :p
