Great information guys. Regarding the fore end flex, is it significant enough to affect use of a tensioned sling or bracing against a tree?

Well I bought it. Fits better than my savage, trying to hold off selling the savage to see how the sako shoots first... I'm used to it now and actually like the looks of the gun. It's my first plastic stocked gun, I've always liked blued steel and wood. The savage (114 American Classic) feels more sturdy in the hand but ergonomically doesn't fit as nice and is noticeably heavier.
I'll post s review after I get it to the range.
