M14 UTG monorail

So with thinking how much fun it will be when the height adjustable adapters for the utg m14 rail come out I decided I could not wait and just took one of the side rails and cut it to fit the utg mount! actually turns out pretty slick, and its held down by 4 screws, 2 in the stripper guide and 2 into the front rail. It really gets the scope down low and keeps you from needing a huge cheekrest. It will be really nice to see the M14 doctor mounts come and they should be fantastic (as i am guessing with height adjustable we can add some rear height for elevation for a 20moa rail etc).

nifty permanent modification

there will be several custom optic mounting options in the extremely near future but am not revealing much as i hate making promises. But everything is working out well as we speak.
I have a much simpler solution for the utg, 3 options actually and have taken other optic configs and rail sytems into account for a 4rth option. I have been silent lately other than to say that 2 mount options should be ready extremely soon.
as a matter of fact, i'm jumpin in the jeep to head over to the shop right now for the night shift

ARRGGHHH you should know all of us are impatient here! Will definitely be picking one up for the other just for the height adjustment.

This one seems to eject fine and no brass markings but as to permanent solutions i dont feel too bad cutting on a $100 piece. if this was a springfield mount I might have had second thoughts though
