Just wondering what the general consensious is on these rings...

Well - I've been somewhat disappointed. I find it difficult to gage the grip on the base. Also, I've received some with imperfect threads in the rings.

I like them,
However the 'flat screw' head is stupid, they should use a torx or at least a hex, but flat??

(they use torx on the ring halves)

They are solid rings in my books. My favorites are the Sig Zee Rings

That's why preference is for the dual dovetail version.
