Spasibo bratok!
Just one question have you taken this to the range yet? The set up looks
way to off centered, Please don't take this the wrong way I am just asking these questions cause I have been thinking of doing the same soon. Can you get a good cheek weld does it feel confertable or do you find yourself having to strain to to see through the scope?
She looks money!
Where'd you pick up that mounting rail? If you don't mind me asking/
I think I'm going just to get centered side scope mount....
Price on the Kasat rail?
Price on the teapot2 scope assy?
Looks nice to me. I go through phases of wanting to scope an 858.... one of these days I'm going to fall victim to the urges![]()

Kasat makes them, I bought it on EE from a guy that decided not to use it after getting it made. Very solid and easy mounting!
I was looking at artillery guns and they have their sights waaay of center...

I haven't seen him around the boards here for probably a year. Anybody know if he's still making these or how to get a hold of him?

I just ordered a 6X D-model POSP from Eastlink. Same scopes as Teapot sells, but I'm in Ottawa and so is Eastlink and I like supporting the few local outfits we have left in LIEberal Morontario.
The Kasat mount does offset the scope quite a lot, but to get it more centered you need to use a shell deflector.
This is what I plan on doing. I'm either going machine a new rail mount that I can drill and tap to the receiver, or alternately, I might see if I can get the factory rail pinned to the receiver to hold it in place and then weld it on permanently.
Yes, this will require a shell deflector. I'm told NEA is coming out with a polymer one that will clamp to a scope tube which is fine if it comes out in time, if not, I'mm make something up form steel sheet.
The Kasat mount is fine for right-handed shooters, but I used one last weekend at the range and as a lefty it's just too far offset to be comfortable IMHO.
