I want to know what model of Jewell trigger I need to order to install on my Remington XR-100??
I also need a 1pc base Picatinny style, are what I can order a 700 short action?

There are two triggers. The AJO3 BR trigger has no bolt release or safety and 1.5 oz The AJO4 has a bolt release and safety. Any Remington compatible trigger will work

As to bases, I suggest a Ken Farrell base. These can be got locally from a number of board sponsors. You want the base that fits the Remington XR100, Model 7 and XP100

A REMINGTON SHORT ACTION BASE WILL NOT WORK.

I had to cut the back short on mine to make it work or not be able to close the bolt (not really an option, laff)

If you want a bolt release you have to order the XR-100 specific trigger, the one for the Rem 700 will NOT work on the XR action.

I will see if the Model Number is on either of my bags downstairs.

Trust me on this one.....get the bolt release.

I got the Non Bolt Release for my 700 action and kick myself for getting it without.

For $29 you can get a bolt release from Sinclair that is far superior to the Remmy system and you save by not having to pay the extra hundred bucks for a couple of pieces of bent metal

$29 doesn't include the cost to have it installed though,...there's another $25min charge.

Model with bolt rls is (or should be) $10 more than the non bolt rls.

$177US for Bolt Release model
$167US for the non Bolt release

Yeah.....$300-$400 for the same trigger up here is robbery but what are we to do.
