Rossi single shot rifles?

Anybody here shoot a Rossi single-shot rifle? I was looking at a couple today that looked like a nice little unit. There was one in .30-06 that looked like a handy little bear buster.

I don't think I could get accessory barrels for them though, but I don't even know if I can do that with an NEF/H&R in Canada anymore. But, Rossi is supposed to be bringing some new rifle called "The Wizard" out with similar barrel swapping ability to the T/C?

I checked out a couple Baikals too. They are neat, but I don't think I like the cocking mechanism.

I wonder who is going to be bringing them into Canada?

Well with the dollar high, the price should be good - theoretically. But I bet we get screwed.

If the rifles came in for about $400 and the barrels for about $150, that'd be interesting.

I think Rossi dropped their price significantly for Canadian dealers this year, or at least that's what I heard from a dealer. (to the tune of $75 off - but I may be mixed up, the fella may have been talking about Baikal).
