just got it today. the Dlask receiver fit nice, the barrel is a tad too short. had to put a brake on it. the ports are just at the end of the stock. oh well.

now to replace the stock internals......

looks nice. feels like a bed liner is coating the stock. comes with two sling swivels.

only down side, is they sprayed the coating into the hole where the stock screw threads, had to tap it first, no big deal.

Looks good. I hope mine shows up tomorrow.

I really like the look of that DLASK receiver. I might have to break down and buy one.

Make sure you send DLASK an email asking them to make a matching flash hider/brake for their barrels. If enough guys ask, I am sure they will.

Very nice guys, I've got my tacticool stock, still waiting on my dlask receiver(s) and barrel though. Glad to hear everything fit well.

WoooHooo! :dancingbanana:
Mine showed up at the door today too PW! (don't mean to steal your thread.... )

I just got the black stock today as well.... I also have a Tan model on the way Wham-O can you tell me if it's a desert tan or Coyote tan / FDE

Also looks like this stock was a limited run as it's no longer available on there web site. there are going to be hard to get if you missed out. good thing I bought 2.

PW I passed on the OD green because there picture sucked on the web site but it looks like your turned on nice.

hey, just received mine yesterday! in black, I think it looks great with Dlask barell and receiver. On my stock the Takedown screw with Dlask receiver is very tight compares to the factory Ruger's one. Also after installing the barrel/receiver, the barrel touch the right side of the stock barrel chanel....anyone with the same issue? Overall, GREAT stock! I like it!

I'm not worried about that, I'm getting mine glass bedded for a better fit. personally I think an 18" or 20" barrel would look better on this stock the front forearm is on the long side.

Looks GREAT Jim!

I picked up my Boyd's stock at the post office today and could barely wait for my one year old daughter to go down before I put my 10/22 together.

I had used paint stripper previously to strip that crappy black paint off my receiver and I also have a new Dlask 16" barrel.

The receiver fit in quite tightly and the barrel is completely free floating. I think the receiver and last few inches of the barrel could benefit from being bedded but I won't be doing that until after I get a chance to take her out to the range (hopefully next week). The assembled rifle has a nice feel to it and I really like the stock so far.

I missed the postman today so it is available tomorrow for pick up.

For those of you with this installed already, is the stalk pretty solid? One of the reason to try the boyds was that my hogue was pretty flexible. I am hoping this stock solves that issue.

Looking good all!!

It's very solid. I think it wouldn't hurt to bed the receiver and the first couple inches of the barrel.

got a call last night from my father that my other Tan stock arrived had one sent to his address so I could order 2 the same day when these were offered, so both came with in 2 days apart. I do feel these stocks look out of place a bit when a 16" barrel is placed on it. The barrel looks kinda short on this long forend, I personally think an 18" or 20" would look better on this stock. Overall it's a nice stock kinda like a B&C stock without the big price tag.
