T-Bolt Varmint .22LR. Sighted it in yesterday 18c no wind -- various ammos -- all shot well but really liked CCI V-Max. Really like the gun and that new mag/clip is super easy to feed.Gotta love the trigger:D
First picture is 10 shots @ 25m ---- 2nd is 5 shots @ 50m

Wow! When did CCI start loading the VMax into 22LR? What is the bullet weight? Not that your rifle isn't interesting (great shooter BTW) but I am interested in the load...

Well, easy to tell I'm not an experienced .22 shooter --- went back to check the ammo --- guess I saw a V on the plastic container and assumed wrong --- what I used was CCI "Mini-Mag 40 grain.
Cheers!

Oh well... a little bit disappointed, I really like the hornady Vmax bullet and I was hoping that CCI would start to load it into the 22LR. Regardless, it looks like you got a real shooter there. CCI Minimags are great rounds; other great loads are the CCI Velocitor (Hunting) and Winchester T22 (target) for practice. I would also recommend you try Lapua Master and Midas Series ammunition and Eley Match but you may not like how much that stuff costs but is nice to see groups like you fired at 25 metres at 50..

Thanks, I'm really pleased with the gun & with these old eyes (63) I was suprised with the results. I used to shoot competatively back in the early 70's and have been a shotgunner (Skeet and Sporting Clays) since then.
Cheers

Grouser those are some nice groups

I have been thinking about getting a T-Bolt, leaning towards a sporter, but really like the look of the Varmint. Did you buy locally?

Yep, bought in Mcadam --- found the best price on the net -- presented him with the evidence and he met the price. You have to educate yourself before you go in there.
Cheers, John
