Not even sure if this is in the right forum or not, but I have a snow goose in the freezer from about 4 years ago. I wrapped it in newspaper assuming I was gonna mount it (they are pretty rare around these neck of the woods I gather) well time has gone by and kinda forgot about it and moved etc. Is it dried out too much for either eating or mounting, or should I just take it to a taxidermist and let him decide? I imagine its beyond eating as well. I hate the thought of just pitching out.

Well Cletus, you may have already answered your own question.
After four years in the freezer it is likely got freezer burn.
It likely would not taste very good if you where to thaw it out and prep it for roasting.
I would talk with a couple of taxidermists and see what they say.
And if the first one says I can fix it for a small fee of $400.00 I would walk away ...
No, I would run away as fast as I could and thank myself for saving my hard earned cash.
I would hazard a guess that it would cost $400.00 or more for a reputable Taxidermist
to do a very good job on a perfect mountable bird.
You might even be able to have one sent from the Middle Provinces frozen to you for your intended purpose.
After all the one you shot is rare in your location and the memories of the hunt can be preserved in this way...possibly.

After one year in the freezer a goose is unlikely to be good food and is even less likely to be a good taxidermy specimen. After four years I think you know the answer....

"...likely got freezer burn..." Yep. More than just 'likely' though. Not edible either. Most game meat is good for about 6 months in a freezer.
