Norinco

Hi guys, I am looking at getting either a NP22 sig copy, or the NZ75 cz copy.

I would like to know if the frame cracking is still an issue with either, or was this just norc mudslinging?

Thanks seadog:nest:

There isn't any flame cracked report of NZ75, the earlier NP-22 did have one or two but Norinco had redesign the flame and no problems since. These are proven design clone, you should be good to pick either one.

I heard norinco beefed up the internals on the sig clones, making them even stronger than the sigs themselves....there was a report somewhere online that norinco put 15k rounds through them after the redesign without any signs of frame cracking.

I cant find the side by side pics online anymore...it was very evident if you put an original sig and norc copy beside each other.

I wonder if the NP-34 variants that are in Canada nowadays all have this new feature?
Those look very appealing to me...Online these norc sig copies seem hugely popular overseas in other gunnut friendly countries like pakistan and areas of SE asia...

One thing I read was the norc mags don't feed well? Anyone else have this issue?

I have ordered a NZ75 from Marstar and yet to see how's the performance of this gun. I searched the internet and find little info. I have a CZ75 shadow and really want to compare them. I love shooting 9mm and can't help to own another cheap toy.

Somewhere here there is a photo of the reinforced rail block that Norinco put in its Sig clones, quite amazing that what gets called a "cheap knock off" would use that level of sophistication in solving a problem that they inherited.

I've been considering getting one of the two above pistols as well; perhaps it would be good to also know which one has the smoothest trigger in DA & SA modes., and aftermarket parts availability too.

That's for sure...Norinco is impressive - to say the least.

I own a NP-22 and I love it. I did replace the grips with a inexpensive set of Hogues (ebay). I love shooting this pistol. It has always been 100% reliable. The DA trigger is a tough pull, but the SA is nice.

I will one day get the CZ clone too, as I have nice things about them too.

I can'r belive that there has been 9 posts on this thread without the usual Norinco bashers chiming in. It's pleasantly refreshing.

Yes, the endless Norinco bashing seems to be lessening overall. I guess it's now that those prone to circulating it have finally taken their heads out of their asses in the face of overwhelming support and positive comment from actual Norinco owners. :)

I have both Norcs in 40 S&W and the real ones, too.

The triggers on the Sig and CZ clones are excellent in SA mode, a bit heavy in DA. They shoot very, very well.

I like them both, but prefer the CZ because it is heavier.

@ schick

Just got my NP22 and CQ last night! Boooyah!
I do agree that the DA on the NP22 is waaaay too hard a trigger pull.
I doub't I could hit a target with that pull. Does it get lighter with use?
Thanks

I am thoroughly happy with my NP22. It definitely tipped the scales for me to purchase more Norcs in the future. The finishing is still on the rough side, but it shoots well and is a snap to field strip. I don't think you can go wrong.
