Hi,

I know what an MOA is.

But guys tell me if I am right.

When you look at scopes adjustments most of them says,
1/4" @ 100 yards which means for every click the point of impact will move by 1/4".

My question is when it says 1 MOA or 2 MOA : Is that means for every click the point of impact will move by 1" or 2" respectively.

Minute Of Angle. 1" at 100yards. So if your bullet hits the target 1" low you need to adjust 1moa up. 1" at 200 yrds is .5moa and so on. As for the scope of you have 1/4 moa adjustments you need to move up by one number or 4 clicks.

If you want to get deeper into it, 1 MOA is actually 1.047 inches. so 1 3/64". technically speaking of course.

At 100yds 1moa= 1"

At 100yds one click = 1/4" it takes 4 clicks for 1moa.


At 200yds 1moa= 2"

At 200yds one click = 1/2" it takes 4 clicks for 1moa


At 300yds 1moa = 3"

At 300yds one click = 3/4" it takes 4 clicks for 1moa


At 400yds 1moa = 4"

At 400yds one click = 1" it takes 4 clicks for 1moa


etc.

Yes if you are at 100m a 1moa click will move you one inch.If you are at 200m that same 1 moa click will move you 2 inches.
A 2 moa click will move you 2 inches at 100m and 4 inches at 200m and so on.
