OK, we've been suggesting guns - how about ammo?

.30 Rimfire
.32 Rimfire
.41 Rimfire
.43 Mauser

...and on and on and on. Runs of 10,000 of each of these should sell out in well under six months. There are no other sources for this stuff, and a lot of fellows have been buying antique pistols and rifles and either hand-rolling their own ammo via mystical ancient methods known only to the Cognoscenti and certain high-level Masons, or simply letting those old ladies lie silent.

I know importing ammo is a lengthy and painful bureaucratic process, but I reckon a guy could make some money with this... And if loaded ammo is an issue, what about primed rimfire cases and bullets?

Maybe this is more realistic? What about a C96 clone? The Chinese made these in the past, maybe they still can. I'd love to shoot a C96 in 9mm or 7.63, or whatever calibre they could make.
 
Not sure if this has been mentioned but... how about making a "tactical" fore-end with a flashlight that doesn't extend beyond the barrel for use with all of our 12" Grizzly's?? I keep hoping SureFire will make one. Basically copy a SureFire but have the flashlight sit flush with the end of the grip. I'm sure there would be more than a few interested CGNers.
 
I doubt SureFire will make one like that, your other option is to get a railed forend and put a light on it, Fab Defense makes a good one and it's alot cheaper.
 
I realize that. CanAm / Dominion Arms already makes one but it sticks out a country mile. Maybe take could make a shorter/flush one. This thread is called "Ideas for Dominion Arms".
 
ekimox, what you could do is find out what kind of flashlight that forend is using and find out if there is a shorter model being made, I believe that it uses 2 cr123 batteries, so a similar flashlight that only uses 1 cr123 battery could work out.

Also you might want to upgrade the bulb to a LED assembly, from what I heard the bulb ot there sucks, there is a thread about it somwhere.

surefire E1E is only one CR123 battery and measures 3.4''
 
It would still stick out but not as much, a screw in choke that sticks out a bit out of the barrel, maybe 1/2", would make it seam like the light isn't sticking out that far.

Something like this... except, the mag well takes 1911 mags and the barrel is locked in place with a Brewer collar, like a Savage centrefire rifle and the bolt uses a pinned-in-place floating bolt head also like the Savages.

So on this basic and common chassis, we make rifles in 9mmP, .38Super, .40S&W, 10mm, and .45ACP.

By using the 1911 mag we can feed all those calibres (and more) through a common mag well, the floating bolt head lets us mix and match with easily interchangeable barrels, so that we have the bolt actioned equivalent of the T-C Contender (sort of). Plus it allows the aftermarket to supply barrels in less common cals, like .357SIG, .400CorBon and 9x25Dillon, and probably some enterprising soul will figure a way to use the .22 conversion mags too.

And all those features in a pump rifle make me harder than a Chinese spelling test.
