i have a 10/22 target, and was running into jammig issues. was told about upgrading to a VQ extractor, even thoiugh at quick inspection , my factory one looked alright, i went ahead and ordered the VQ extractor (as well as there auto botl release)...WOW what a difference !!...put approx. 400 rounds through on the weekend, with out one single problem !!!.....money well spent !! (even though the part is fairly cheap, and shipping was free !!)

yeah i know ( a buddy was telling me about it), but i was placing an order, and the bolt release was only $11 , or so.
considering trigger next., how easy is it to lighten the trigger up ?, what is required ?

Get the Target Hammer and drop 'er in. Instant 40oz trigger.
And don't forget a buffer too (Tuffer Buffer is less expensive than the VQ).good to know, and i already have a tuffer buffer in it . considering the VQ "high performance trigger kit", guys are claiming 2-2 1/2 pound trigger pulls after install (which i geuss woiuld be about 40 oz.), thanks for the input

I'm not sure the High Perf kit is worth the extra $70, as mine has the same 40oz break as just the Target Hammer. It has less creep and the overtravel screw is nice, but for field use and a bit of range work it might be overkill.
Either is a Huge improvement over factory though.

Get the hammer only, the sear is not required. The buffer makes the action far quieter & may save wear & tear on the components.back40sniper
