Can someone please explain to me the difference between a scope that has 1/4" click at 100 yards vs one that is .25 moa. Or is it pretty much the same thing? I know its probably a stupid question but i tried to google it and couldnt really find a answer that made much sense.

MOA is 1.047" / 4= .26175" which is pretty close .25" which is 1/4" per click,, so the same... at a 1000 yards the difference would be .47" not worth worrying about, in my mind,,,,, sorry between using MOA or 1`inch..

And furthermore, whether your scope manufacturer claims to have 1/4" clicks or 1/4-MOA clicks, don't believe a word of it. Until you test it yourself, you really don't know how big your clicks are.

(One of my scopes moves about 0.8 inches at 100 yards per "minute" indicated on the knobs)
