I mounted Magpul CTR stock on my VZ-58 using a Rauch Tactical adapter and it came loose after one short shooting session. Do you guys normally use threadlocker stuff on your stocks or should they nt really come loose?

Thanx in advance.

What came loose? the adapter or the Tube?

The tube was loose until I got the AR wrench, but the adapter came loose recently. Should I need to use the threadlocker or no?

ideally you want to be bolting your stock into something like the adapter on the right. Its shouldered, so it locks into place against the back of the receiver. Its alot less likely to come loose.

The one I got is not shouldered. Where do I get one like that. So I take it then that shouldn't have to threadlock the stock?

not shouldered??? really? if you were to loctite a non shouldered adapter into your receiver, how would you get it out if you wanted to remove it?
