Whats a "newbie" I see folks that have joined years ago and their still a "newbie"

The "newbie" title is just referring to your post count, not your date of registration.

It's important to note, however, that the post count isn't relative to the quality of posts. I've had a few great and informative responses from people with relatively low post-count.

Another forum I read have people with super high post counts, yet they usually bring no more than a "nice one!" or "sounds like fun"...

Seems to me that posting on some of the forums don't count towards it either.

It changes at 30 posts, then,I believe, your a "member."
