Folks;

The results of our April 10, 2010 ISSF Championship Shoot are now posted on the BC Rifle Association Website under the "Results" section. Perhaps someone who knows how to download a copy here can do so (thanks in advance).

It was very encouraged to see a good number of new shooters (and new shooters in most categories) with some very impressive results for these first-time competitors.

This was our first shoot of the season, and for all, the first go at our new 300 yd ICFRA dimension targets and V-bull. We were all kept honest with the switch winds teasing us all day.

You did a great job on the shoot! It was nice to see the number of awards handed out this year and the obvious work put into getting this set up.

I look forward to the sierra

What I appreciated most were the prizes, nice to know that the Mission club finally bought out the Dollar Store.

All kidding aside it was a great shoot and kudos to April....I'm getting a new glass eye so look out this coming May 29th and 30th!!!!

Congrats to all,

Cliff

Congratulations on an excellent shoot Brian.
You and your support crew did an awesome job !
However, I am disappointed to find that you do NOT accept bribes....
Some 64 yr. old geezers need all the help they can get.
By the way, Brian....should I change my name to "Crossfire " ?? :redface:

Cliff and Kevan;

Thanks for your comments; I appreciate it. The May 29 & 30 Sierra shoot should be a good one; always is.

Kevan; You are not the only one who cross-fired....but, if someone crossfires on your target, do you want the extra point? LOL

Hi Brian,

Besides getting the glass eye replaced I'm going to wear my lucky hat the end of May.

Once again great job!

Hey Richard;

Thanks a big bunch for posting the results......did you remove the Bench and Sporter categories from the bottom of the results sheet to protect the innocent? LOL....

Brian

I wonder if there was a Page 2 to that because I did not see Bench and Sporter.

EDIT: Fixed....there was a page 2 :D

Cyanide where were you :confused: it was a windy shoot just like Kamloops you would have loved it
Unfortunately I had stuff to do at home for the upcoming Gun Show plus I had just got back the week before from the US Nationals.

So, if I am reading the results right, Jim Paton shooting TR outshot every one there!!
On the ICFRA target...
Cat in the hat's signature of "SCOPES ARE COOL BUT SLINGS AND IRONS RULE" takes all its meaning.

Well done Jim.

The ICFRA TR target center is twice the size of the F-Class Target, or more correctly, F-Class is half the size of TR and at 0.4MOA it does not coincide with adjustments on any scope. It's what happens when non-f-class shooters make up the rules. Our 4 is there 5. Our 5 is their V-Bull
