It has been noted that some receivers have 'heads' on one end of the magazine catch pin. This head is on the right side of the receiver and will interfere with the bolt release installation. . Users with these receivers have to pull the pin and insert in from the left side so that the head is not in the way.

None of the receivers in my collection have this bolt design, however one person on site for this weekends shoot does. So they may be common enough.

I will modify our installation PFD to reflect these receivers.

Thanks.

Common enough for my luck. I'm running the CZ858-4 Tac from Wolverine's $650.00 batch, pre CZ-craze. Bolt release work prefect thou. Just might have to keep an eye on the pin. Comes a bit lose after using the mag release quite a few times. All in all one hell of a product. Thanks a lot Neit.

I was thinking of filing some of the head of the pin down on one side. Once it sinks into the indent in the receiver as it was intended it should not rotate due to the bolt release. I'm going to throw a 100 round down range tomorrow to test out the new accessory and I will judge on how the pin holds up reversed before I go to that step. I'll post results in a day or two.

Thanks. I was going to suggest that users with these pins do just that, but I didn't want Joe-Blow destroying something. I figured it'd just be easier to fork out for new pins.

Let me know how it goes.

haha.. no not you.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic Bolt Release. Satain's Bolt Release will be that part. We can make it better than it was before. Better, stronger, faster....

Sweet!
I hope it's a simple straight paddle.
