want to buy a TT-33 Tokarev

Looking for a shooter with a good bore, matching numbers nice but not
critical. Buying online from Badger - is prewar better? Any other
questions I should ask them? I already have 9 boxes of surplus ammo
so that's not an issue.

I have a 1942 TT which runs just fine. Typically the war year pistols are roughly machined and have poor(er) finishes, but they shoot the same.

Gun shows/swap meets sometimes have small quantities.
Westley Surplus said they were bringing in some for March but I haven't checked back recently.
