Cz 75 p-07

I didn't like the one I handled.

Pros:
DA/SA with a hammer
size
price

Cons:
feels cheap: plastic sights, polymer is toy gun-ish
barrel isn't flush with the slide.

The 75B would be more parctical here in Canada where you either plink at a range or join one of the action shooting sports. The P-07 is a light polymer gun designed for CCW and LEO applications. It is a very nice and accurate pistol but aimed at a very narrow market niche IMHO.

The extended barrel makes it legal here in Canada and the extened barrels are threaded in the US for a silencer when sold in that configuration in the US.

Up here they only come with the safety lever while in the US they are shipped with a decocker lever as well. You can change the gun from one with a manual safety to a decoker simply by changing the part.

Bronco Boy... since you are in Maple Ridge, head over to DVC and try theirs. That's what I did too when I saw a used on at Wanstall's for cheap.

Sad to say I was disappointed it, though of course this could be different for you.

My pros/cons are similar to IM Lugger's:
-good: low price, good brand, ergonomics were awesome... I held the gun and thought it felt great
-bad: the barrel sticking out, though this is really Canada's fault for having dumb gun laws but the main one is that I hated the feel of the trigger. I was able to shoot it fine but in my opinion, one of the worst triggers I've ever tried

Like I said ... this gun people either seem to love or hate. Personally I like having the barrel stick out...Same thing is on our Canadianized P228's and same look on Beretta 92.

Here is what I like about the gun...

The grip fits fantastic and is one of the most comfortable guns to hold imo, it is mid-sized and fairly lightweight, it is a CZ-75 so it is reliable and well made, you can swap decocker/manual easily, DA/SA with hammer is a personal preference I want, accurate, fairly priced, I personally think it looks great.
