The Butler Creek lens covers on my scope aren't super tight fitting, and tend to fall off after a few shots.

The obvious answer is to just wrap a little electrical tape around them, but before I go ahead and do that, I was just wondering if anyone had a more elegant solution.

Cheers.

One of mine keeps popping open. I hate it.

Check it again to be sure that you have fully seated it on the scope.

Because the Butler Creek covers are made of a rubber-like material, unless they are fully seated (with the scope supporting them) the excessive flex will cause your cover to pop open.

Push the covers onto the scope ALL THE WAY.

My factory Falcon Optics cover comes off after about 10 shots. I just leave it on the bench until I pack up. I don't take 10 shots while hunting, so it hasn't really been an issue.
