Who of you owns one? Could you load some pictures? Who sells them in Canada - original or custom-tuned? Does Saiga likes a 12ga/.410 commercial ammo or requires milsurp menu? Any info of availability in Canada/legal aspect/reliability/parts-accessories available for tuning - will be greatly appreciated.

Too bad... Saiga in 12ga could be the one and the only gun I would ever need. It looks like AK and this is a shotgun! What else can you possible want, eh? ... *sigh*

That's the SAIGA-12S EXP-01. Made by Izhmash

You are mistaking it with the VEPR12 made by Molot. They have similarities but they are not the same gun.

yeah its under the saiga name, but its not made at Izmash and uses an RPK reciever, all the molot firearms do

heavier barrel
bolt hold open
mag well
hinged dust cover with pic rail for optics
adjustable AK style leaf sights

you can get a magwell for the saiga12's .. but they still lack bolt hold open, and dont really compare in quality

its kind of like having a norinco AR next to a Knights AR
