I have a 1943 dated Longbranch Lee Enfield No4 Mk1* that has a serial number in the range issued to the No.1 Provost Company (RCMP) in WW2. It has the 'MP' stamp identifying it as RCMP issue. The wood is clean and the steel is in good shape. It comes with its original leather sling.

I have no idea what it's worth. Can anyone help me to set a fair price?

In response to requests for additional photos, I have taken the following:

Nice rifle. Load up a couple more photos. :D

I acquired an MP-marked Long Branch last year. In my search it appears that if the rifle appears on the list in the back of the Klancher "Accoutrements" book they seem to sell for $600 or a bit more for a standard rifle - maybe a bit more if it was tweaked to be a target rifle.

That's my $.02 worth. Perhaps others will chime in.

Thanks Range Rover. I have added more photos by editing my previous posting. The serial number is in the Phillips and Klancher book.
