Np30 nickel

NP-30 Nickel

Geez, they must be good. Otherwise there'd be a glut of them for sale. You don't often see them come up on the EE. Must be a good sign....

Another point to consider, is that my NP-30NN differs from my NP-30 in that it is a series 80 style firing pin block. instead of the series 70 style of the NP-30 (and all other Norinco 1911s).

Do you have more information or pictures for the fireing pin block differences?

It's a NP-30N and not a NP-30NN you have, right?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that they're all NP-30N. I think the extra N started showing up because of a typo somewhere and it just spread like wildfire. If they're different models, which I highly doubt, I've yet to see the difference.

As for your question about the firing pin block differences, if you can't find it online, you'll just have to hope Halger280 responds. I mean, it's been 2 years since someone has posted here, but I'm sure I'm not the only one still watching. :)

The nickel plating is holding up fine.

The NP-30 is a type 70. The NP-30N is a type 80.
I am glad to have one of each. :)

The type 80 internal parts involved in the frame and slide of the NP-30N, are identical to the Colt type 80 parts, and are fitted in the same manner.

Hope that helps.

Still nobody posted how it shoots lol, I wanna know dammit!!

Thanks. I've found the info I needed. I’m still suppressed that there is a difference between the NP-30 and the NP-30N, other then the nickel finish.
