Southern Manitoba Turkey?!!!?

Pembina Valley, and I've seen birds down around the Vita area. Not sure what the populations are like but I'm sure one of the local DNR offices could tell you.

From St Malo bridge south to 201 east see them every other day, after that go east of vita and also south of vita. They are grouped up now, biggest numbers are by Vita for sure!!! There are some big ass tom's near Vita I got pic's of my buddies, he waited until he did the hen right on the driveway, then dropped the bugger, had to cut off his leags to get him the roaster!!!!

There sure ain't much south of Vita. None worth talking about. There are one or two packs of about 4 or 5 that I know of. And those were let loose by a friend of mine who grew them and then let them free.

I guess, I am drunk again, because I seen another bunch of 20 plus, two years ago I had 30 at least at my cabin every dam day, until the bears showed up, the dam turkerys where sitting on my wood pile every night, and on the shed, tractor then didn't care where! Your Buddie had ten?? big deal! I won't hunt them out here, it's wouldn't even be fair! I have video of the turkeys chasing the geese out of the garden at the cabin, funny as hell to watch them, now I could never shoot one. When you see them mate, they are brutally funny!!! Stepping on the hen's head pushing her head face down on the ground until she gives in and sits there, lol. got that on old style video.
