Can someone help me identify this upper?

I got this upper in a box of auction goodies and was thinking of putting it on the EE. I was told its a large hole Colt, There was also a semi auto bolt/carrier like new in the box with a C on it, but I don't want to misrepresent it as something its not. Any idea's? It looks to be almost new...(thats anti-seize all over the threads.)

THe front hole looked bored out to me. There should be a "C" on the upper, right next to the mark of the forgery.

I will say that it is home job of a generic upper.

Definitely a home job on a generic Anchor Harvey upper. I agree with GT.

Anchor Harvey? Hmm...now I know why the box was so cheep! I was thinking that front hole looked a bit off center eesh! anyone see why I cant get it tig welded and drilled out to the correct size?

You'll destroy the heat treat properties once someone strikes an arc to the aluminum, the strength will be be something akin to the crappiest cast aluminum you've ever seen after that

Does it fit a Colt lower? I wouldn't really waste my time with it anyhow. An upper is fairly cheap to replace.

Good idea. Fit a bushing, bond it in place, drill and ream correctly.

Bushmaster and various other companies sell that bushing. Costs pennies. The phosphating on that looks Olympic Arms-ish to me.
