S&w m&p 1522

The S&W M&P 15-22's are now here. They come with collapsible stock (buffer tube molded in) and one mag (extra mags are $35). These guns are mostly polymer on the exterior however have detachable front and rear (metal) sights along with a front rail system (polymer)...$550. The Colt/Walther M-4 carbine 22lr are also in and they also come with a collapsible M-4 stock (traditional buffer tube style). The Colts' are mostly metal contruction (mags are polymer). This gun appears and feels more like a center fire M-4 than the S&W. No extra mags at this time (one comes with gun)...$799. We have very few guns left from either maker after filling our back orders. Phil.

What about the pistol??????????

I saw a magazine last night that had a S&W M&P 15/22P pistol on it.... It looked sick.... Imagine one of those with a drum on it....

I hope someone brings these in.... its restricted anyway, whey not get the pistol varient.

Gord.

I bought mine 1 month ago and I like it. I know the restricted problem and it sucks. But anyway, I'm shooting only to my shooting club.I saw just like you the MP15 22 pistol and it will be cool to own that one. My question: If it is a pistol, what's going on about the 25 rds mag? I don't think that S&W will make a 10 rds for us and if you want a 10 rds pinned mag, You'll destroy it.

From a similar thread a while ago:

Just like the Ruger 10/22 Charger pistol, the S&W MP-22 pistol will legally be able to use higher capacity magazines as the mags are designed to fit into a rimfire rifle. Same basic principle that allows for the 10 round LAR mags to be legally used in an AR.
