You know myself, I would not buy this single shot, uber short shotgun. BUT I see the value this could have to a tree-planter or prospector that has the need for protection in really thick forest. And this person may not have the time/inclination for an adequate pistol/ATC.
(with the nessessary range practice, so important for handguns)
A shotgun for anyone in the wilderness is a pretty good choice, I myself think. Be it a pump/self loader/double barrel or single shot.
At least it's a 12 gauge.........and if god forbid, you have to discourage Yogi Bear from eating you, it sure beats pepper spray.
Don't let me mislead anyone, this is IMHO, a last ditch protection firearm, for a single person alone, because that pistol grip is useless for any kind of distant shot, to protect anyone at any distance from you. This 5-yard gun is certainly better than no gun at all, for uno in the thick forest.
PS: Far more important questions we all should ask are: Is it reliable with your choice of adequate ammunition? Are you training with it?
Do you feel confident with it at close range? (Because chances are, you will only get off the one shot, if you are lucky enough to do so, at all)
