For those of us that are operating the CZ-858 rifle and are right handed you may want to consider having "Broncoo" in Kelowna modify your bolt carrier for you.

I was asking around in this forum for info on ambi bolt carriers and gremlin tabs when Mike sent me a PM explaining that he could do the work for me.

Mike welded up my gremlin tab and new right hand bolt carrier charging handle so well that it looks factory.

I trained with it yesterday for the first time and it makes the rifle so much more ergonomic and intuitive.

I don't have anything to gain from this, I don't even remember Mikes last name, but I can say this: He has a very high standard of workmanship and the price was substantially less than anyone else offering up this service.

I seven hundreth the ambi safety idea.Hey RS did you give Broncoo the other charge handle or did he make one up.Also did he repaint it for you or did you take care of that.Thanks

He made the other handle.

The factory paint is either blasted off prior or burned off so he shot it with some high temp flat black spray.

A fighting rifle should always be up and ready to work.

Reaching over the top to chamber a new round or tipping the rifle is asking for trouble.

Your mind and eyes should be on the big picture not reloading.

Having the handle on the left and the right makes it intuitive for shooting strong side and off hand as well.

You'd think that they would have just fixed that in the 50's.

I love this rifle. Light, inexpensive, more punch than a gofer round and cheap on ammo.
 
an ambi bolt carrier looks like a wart on a frogs ass:eek:,broncoo did a nice job of tabbing it for me though.sent it out the day after easter monday and had it back and in use by friday afternoon.next time i go to kelowna i`m getting him drunk on my liquor:)
 
We tab carriers for $35.
If you want to buy a 'spare' carrier + tabbed it's $65
If you want a lefty or ambi carrier.. wait for it. We're close.

Ambi Charging Handle

Here it is.
I have trained with it several times now and it is simply better.
Kinda like when I cut off that crappy part of the trigger guard so I could get at the mag release or discovered the "cave man EOtech" method of aiming , just ...better.

Thanks for the pics! Is that the paint coming off on the new handle? Does it come off fairly easily? Still deciding if I want full ambi or just relocate the handle to left side. Thanks again for the pics...looks great, Bro.
