i got a good deal in the US on AR Mags, but they are all 30rd mags, i left them all in the US, but im wondering if there are any issues pinning them myself, or has anyone ever done this? if so, is it hard to do, or is it just poping in a rivet?

They're easy to pin. You can't export them from the US without permits, so so much for the great deal.

i got them for $5 each so if all i lose is $25 its not overly upseting. is the export permet alot of work?

If the US catches you exporting them without a permit, you're in for a lot more than $25.

If you're asking about the permit now, and will be returning within the next few weeks, then forget about it.

Wow....buying something firearms related from the US and not knowing what an export permit is...
acrashb beat me to it.
I was going to say look in the Legales forum for things like this:http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51554
I am no expert but you may want to tread carefully with those mags if bringing them in to Canada..
