Have a Gopher infestation? Let us know here!

I am in the Edmonton Alberta area, have been out the last two Saturdays at a friends farm and the gophers are defiantly up and giviner. We have eliminated a large amount but soon the baby's will be up and going so we are hoping to get some more shooting in soon. If anyone in the area would not mind me and my friend shooting on there land we would love to for gophers and coyotes too if needed. Please send me a message if you do not mind. Thank You

I was going to scout out a few fields just north of Edmonton today on my way to job past gibbons.... but this blizzard put a halt on that.

Yea, no kidding. Nice weather we had today. Oh well....we needed the moisture and most of it will probably be melted by the end of the weekend. Squeaker smokin' time will be back soon.

Drive around the Interlake and Grasslands areas and ask any shop owners if you can put up a sign. You're bound to get a few calls.
 
My son and I will be in Calgary from the 22nd July to the 26th July. We have shooting insurance, I have a PAL/RPAL and my son has taken both PAL/RPAL but currently has a Minor's license. We both have taken the CORE course (hunter's course) and we both have a BC resident hunter number.

I take it from this thread it may be worth while to drive around the grasslands, look for gophers, knock and offer your services and if you get permission you are good to go on the private property? Any suggestions in regard to what area is best around Calgary? Savage MKII in .22LR will be the rifle we plan to use.

Nothing wrong with that choice, I am using a Stevens with a 3-9X scope on it out to 125yds. Throwing blazers or Cyclones at them and they do quite well. Good luck!!
