Anyone like the Kimber Tactical Entry II 1911 45 ACP?

personally I don't like Kimbers, I truly love them, one of the best buy in 1911 market !
you'll enjoy the tight slide & parts and of course the best accuracy out of the box!

Paying 1500 US for it - better be good! Great dealer. Bought some tac mags for it in Buffalo this wknd for 28 each. Waiting 6 wks. Have you ever fired the Tactical Entry? Held one in Buffalo. Great gun. Hope the grip does not hurt hand.

Kimbers are nice, but man do they ### it up with the names.

You took the thought right outta my head. I wish companies would drop the word "tactical" completely and name guns for the civilian market as they pertain to shooting sports. Friggin' wannabe names....
 
They are expensive, but worth in IMO. Recently a local range had a demo day, where for the cost of ammo you could try out different Kimbers. Very nice indeed.

Right now I'm saving, saving, saving for the Eclipse Target II.

There is a reason why they are considered one of the best and have only been producing 1911's since 1996.
 
I don't think that you will be disappointed with your choice. They make a beautiful and accurate pistol!

Does anyone know what models they offer with an ambi-safety and in shiny, polished hard-chrome? Yeah, I know I'll look like a new orleans pimp, but I want one anyways.
