Love my new Norc 1911!

Dumb question, not related to badger in any way: when you shake the pistol in your hand, does the slide make an audible rattle sound with the frame?

How is the trigger pull?

I know that the trigger has been awful on Norincos before but haven't heard about the newer ones. thanks

Nope solid as a rock (literally). I am very surprised at the quality of this gun!

Awesome to be quite honest I have no way to test how many pounds it is but I put in a snap cap and have been working it. This seems like a great shooter but I will know for sure after I get it to the range.

This is the government model with the brown grips (which is the first thing that needs to be changed). For $325 brand new I am simply amazed at how good this gun is. The finish is actually very good as well. I can honestly see why people build off this platform! I bought a Glock just before this a G17 and i already am liking this one alot more!
 
I honestly dont know how anyone can put a gun down with this kind of quality for that kind of price.....I was skeptical before now, although I do have a Norc M14 and have had a Norc SKS!

Here is a question for those in the know, who sells grips for the 1911? I went through about half our dealers on here and no luck......
 
Thanks for the feedback. I recently purchased another new norc 1911a1 elsewhere; however, it makes a racket louder than a baby rattle. This contradicts my experiences from previous purchases though... ...enjoy!

Hmm I wonder what is rattling...the slide perhaps? I have heard of putting the gun in a vise and tightening it ever so slowly but cant say I have ever tried it!
 
We have a big shipment of Norinco 1911A1c - 1911 sport and maney other styles of 1911's , Sig and CZ copies in May and June ,as well as the M4's and what ever else they throw in. Even parts are becoming easier to find. The quality has come of age that's for sure!
