what rings bases and barrel?

Hey guys/girls my first paycheck of the summer is here and its time to start ordering parts for my stevens 200. I picked up a H-S stock over the winter and I plan on getting a shilen barrel but i am undecided on just stainless or the select match grade barrel. The rifle will wear a mark4 6.5-20 and im looking for a 20moa base and rings(ideas please) what would you do? the rifle will be used for f/tr and plinking
 
Near makes very well regarded rings. I have the Alphamount low rings on a Nightforce 20 MOA base.

Links a Remington to a Leupold MK4. I wouldn't change either the rings or the base.

I believe the Select Match can be ordered in stainless......

Farrel 20MOA Base and TPS Rings (most economical and phenomenal performance).
 
While Farrel makes very nice bases, keep the TPS bases in mind as well. They are lower profile than the Farrel, at least the one I bought...

Farrel base with Med TPS rings on my XR actions puts the NF 30mm Tube, 56mm Objective 1/8" above the barrel (1.25" Straight Blank). A lower profile base, in my case, would not be feasible.

If you use a Tapered barrel the lower profile base may prove to be what you need depending on scope choice.
 
Yeah, it gets pretty close. I have the Mark 4 6.5-20x50 on the TPS low rings with their 20 MOA base, and there's maybe 1/8" - 3/16" clearance. That's with the Sendero's stock barrel.

dose anyone use leupold mark 4 rings how are they? And where would i order tps rings from direct from there online store or is there a better place?
