John

I gotta say, the more I learn about John through some of his postings, the more I like him, and the more I respect him. I may have had some different thoughts on John before, but I can truly say he is one of the best things that has ever happened to Canadian gun owners.

And yes, I would very much be interested in a small selection of pictures "from the good days"...

SKS from Africa

John thank you for explaining to everyone what you have to go through to get those into Canada. How can someone come with 45 dollars price tag is outraged. John if you can get them in good condition for 45 dollars I can buy 2 containers from you.
Your charges 12+3=$15+operating cost $2 =$17.
So to sum it up you invest SH$$T load of money. Freeze it for a couple month (6% interest usual bank rate ) Risk of loosing $$ if pirates get your ship somewhere in Sudan or something else. (those insurance rates probably high :) with your type of commodity). In the end you make 25 dollars and get this it is only if you got them for FREE. I am sure there is no mister nice guy that just says come and get those. Clean up our fields :)
Too many people don't know how many hoops you have to jump through to get those into the country (not mentioning getting them out of that country).
As dealer to dealer John good luck to you with this one. I hope people won't judge you when you get those into the country.

Regards,

Sergey

SO after explaining all of that with a markup for profit we are looking at 45 dollar sks's;)

Those were some excellent photos John, thanks for sharing! I can only imagine counting all of that loosely organized 20mm, must have been a nightmare... or a wet dream for some others on here, haha.
