May Purchases

It's a tempting thought, BH, but I will likely need to make some room. I will treat her gently, though. ;) and, despite the photos, it's clear this revolver has not been a safe queen.

RR, it may not be rare but it's rare to see them in such fine condition. Why not keep that one safe and pretty and shoot the other one?

well it has been sugested on another site that it was a poruguese but disc
if them guys dont speak spanish then its my mistake.

The Portugese speak Portugese. Don't know why, but that's the way it is. Same with Brazil, the only nation I believe in SA that has as their primary language, Portugese.

Brazil speaking Portuguese: only country in South America that is East of the Line of Demarcation.
You can thank the Pope for that one, about 450 years ago.

Obviously..... a Catholic Conspiracy!!!!!!!!

But both countries are Catholic!

Another perfectly good conspiracy theory down the tubes!!!

It's also the reason that the Portuguese colonized in India, China & Africa while the Spanish only had minimal input outside of Europe and America.

Don't forget that the Spanish held most of Europe outside of France, Germany and England until @1700.

Ask a Dutchman or Belgian what he thinks of the Spanish....

AM, that's a very pretty Inglis P35. How did you determine the date. They were only made for a few years but in quantity. Hard to find in such decent condition any more. Most of them were sold into the US. I saw a bunch of them at a Klamath shop in the early 70's. They were all in cardboard boxes, light coat of cosmoline with spare mags. $70, about the same price as a very clean Garand in those days.

Thanks! I found a website (can't remember where now) with a list of ser numbers and date ranges. This particular pistol fell within the sept-oct range, but the later number suggests Oct of 1944. Its a shame they are not that common, they are an excellent pistol!

I just picked this up from another nutter - Ishapore 2A with the correct 2000 yard sight. It has several armoury repairs to the stock, but is all #s matching, inc. mag.
