Wonderful! SO. Who's going to import a few hundred thousand rounds of GP11? Every time I heard that Swiss K31 action go, I heard a dollar ping. Anyone else hear it? It was almost like "Toonie...Toonie...Toonie"

The kid in the middle has a WICKED flinch... probably has to do with being lefty - I'd bet he's taken a bolt handle or three in the nose.

True enough, they were inexperienced, though, admittedly, the Swiss K-31 action/bolt system, (which they borrowed from Herr Mannlicher's designs) is very fast and very smooth.

Three very inexperienced shooters in front of the camera.
Not one of them properly reloading the next cartridge; flinches, AND, where were the bullets hitting? I can imagine what their "target" looks like!

Very impressive, but I doubt that any targets were harmed during the making of that video.

Talking about lefties, I have had good luck shooting various Lee Enfields rapid fire from the prone position left handed. I take my left hand (trigger hand) off the grip and reach over the top to operate the bolt. I also don't see any reason why a lefty would flinch any more than a right handed shooter. I have seen shooters of both persuasions close their eyes and move their heads while shooting. For some reason, they don't seem to shoot very good groups .

Well I am for one. And it is still cheaper ammo than the surplus 303 and 308 if you can find that.

i love the k31 action, even though im a lefty it is fast for me to operate, however every time i pull the bolt back, it comes within about 1/8 inch of my cheekbone, which is very disconcerting to say the least.

The ten rounds in an Enfield (handled properly) will make you think you are facing a semi auto. The Germans thought so during WW1

The guy in the video would have beat those kids if they had semi's. They have no idea how to cycle a bolt.

For me, it think I would be faster with the Lee. I don't even own one anymore (or yet?) and I love my Swiss 96/11. But it just don't think that action is quite as fast a Lee bolt.

And @ 1:55, feel the thunder of multiple Garands!....:p

9 A.M., August 23, 1914 @ the Mons-Condé Canal.....:yingyang:...wouldn't have wanted to be a German infantryman facing the BEF in that first-wave assault!...
