Will AK side mounting scopes work on an 858? Or do you have to smith them?

If not, what other sight mounts are possible (without going to new front furniture)?

Yes work perfect, here,s my 858 with a POSP 4x24MB on an AK mounting rail.

Yes, AK scopes will work on CZ858. There are number of mounting solutions offered. Some require drill and tap. Some don't. We purchased new type side rails specifically made for CZ858 and Russian scopes. ETA May 18.
These rails will fit both AK and SVD style scopes.
