Hello all,

I've been eyeing up a Miroku for the last little while. The gun is listed as mint and the price seems fair. I've got a couple of questions:

1)Are these guns safe for use with steel shot, chokes notwithstanding( eg: barrel soldering etc.)?
2) Are the walls of Miroku Barrels thick enough to have tubes installed?

Looking forward to learning more about this one. Thanks

Regards,

Stef

Check out the side of the barrel on a Browning Citori.
Miroku makes the Browning O/Us.
You be the judge.

The Miroku O/U's are a great buy. Don't see any problem with steel shot if the fixed chokes are not full. As far as getting tubes installed, shouldn't be a problem either, but only a gunsmith can tell you for sure.

Be carefull there as I've seen several Miroku's with chrome lined bores that are not gunsmith friendly for opening or installing chokes.

Agreed that they can be a great buy as just a Browning in disguise.
