How long a newbie?

How long must a newbie remain a newbie? I assume that I am unable to
delete my posts because I am a newbie.

If there is a post explaining the rules, please direct me.

the only reason you can not delete you post is because no one can, only the mods. You can edit a post and remove the body then ask for a mod to remove it.

You are classed as a newbie until you hit 60 post then you are a regular member.

Note that having a post deleted could reduce your post count also then you stay a noob longer

Lol, no you are at six, look at the number under your display picture (note that posts in the intro, newbie and off topic sections aren't tabulated in). You need 30 to become a "member".

They only count the posts that show intelligence, educational or spiritual signifiigance. I made 684 posts before i got past newbie.

Posts in some areas don't count towards total posts: newbie, off topic and equipment exchange are some of those that don't count.
