Need an opinion about Czechpoint's VZ 58 sporting stock

I bought mine VZ 58 with standard wood impregnated plastic stock. It's alright, but I have a feeling it is a little bit short for me ( I am 6.2).

So, I am thinking to replace it with none folding stock.

My first option is Czechpoint's sporting stock (polymer skeleton)

I just purchased an almost identical stock from Wolverine last week (butt plate on my has a rubbber slip on recoil pad) for the exact same reason (I'm 6'1").

Was part of a matching forend (top & bottom) set (see CZ Factory Polymer Forend Review I did a couple of days ago).

It is very well made and ergonomically fits me perfectly. It doesn't flex and the cheek pad plate that came with mine is surprisingly comfortable.

Provides over 1.5" (nearer to 1.75") of extend stock length over factory folder. The pistol grip area feels "cramped" at first if you are use to factory or FAB type handgrips. However, the stock forces you to get a consistent grip on the gun each time it is mounted (not a bad thing) and by loosening or tightening your grip you have lots of adjustment for the type of "hold" you want.
Its not better or worse than the factory grip - just different. The more I play with it (I am still trying to find time/screwdriver to remove the folding stock screw) the more I like it.

Hope to be able to go shoot it next weekend. However, mocking up the distance the new stock provides on my folder suggests it will be a good fit compared to factory stock length. It just feels right. Your mileage may vary.

Given that I'm not big on plastic I was presently surprised how quickly I am liking this new purchase.

From the factory No.
The swivel is part of the retainment system for the stock.
The swivel sits in a blind hole.
Having said that you could probably mod the stock (need to drill thru to the other side) - flip the swivel, and re-install.
You might have to plug the original factory hole but standard hole plugs (black) and a little glue should make it look "factory" modified.

Not sure what it would do to the strength of the stock (removing material for second hole) but from a casual glance it looks like it would work.

If the idea is you want to shoot left handed this stock will not work for you. In order to be able to use the pistol grip the stock has a "curve" in it. This curve is in the wrong direction if you want to mount the gun left handed. It is not an ambi design.

Draw an imaginary straight line from the bottom of the pistol grip to the recoil pad. If you now grab the pistol grip you will find the heel of your hand runs into the stock. Remove material where interference exists and you will find the imaginary line has a hump in it where the heel of your hand needs to reside.
