Two tone!

that "nutnfancy" guy on youtube did his taurus 1911 in a very nice green / tan / sand colour.

Agree, after a lot of thought iv realized its the right choice. Thanks for all your input!

Have fun cleaning the carbon residues on the front of the gun. Stainless gets dirty easily and it shows up quickly. Thank god it just wipes off easily.

Good choice, have fun with it! :D

So i decided on stainless and have finally got my ATT and now have in possession my first handgun! I decided to go with a Springfield Loaded in stainless

Why thank you, I am extremely happy with this gun so far. I have shot about 400 rounds through it and she is an extremely straight shooter!

Two tone!

I like two tone guns, but that one is backwards. The frame and controls should be hard chrome or stainless and the slide should be blued. The idea is to prevent wear/corrosion on the frame from handling while the blued slide provides a low glare sighting plane.

The Pachmayr Combat Special as built for such luminaries as Jeff Cooper, Ross Seyfried, and Ray Chapman epitomizes the two-tone look.
