old style 1911 mags

What brands do you suggest for the single stack 1911A1 style mags? Where is a good place to order such mags?

All the 1911 mags I seem to find are the newer ones....

Ok what would shipping costs on a mag? I went to process an order but it cant tell me shipping costs. It just says it will tell me what they charged me for shipping when my order is shipped.

I don't like blind shipping costs....

you won't regret it. shipping cost isn't that bad, and brownells has a lot of gooood stuff!

spent way to much money there. only thing that is sucky is that I had to make orders under $100 each time for them to be allowed to export. so shipping was an issue for me, but when living in Canadistan you don't have much choice.

brownells are fair on their shipping, but you will pay taxes and fees for duty agents checking your package (but no duty per se).

Cheapest way is with parcel post 1st class. I noticed they recently added some UPS options, but I'm guessing you'd pay much more

Norinco magazines work fine for me, even if they look cheap and crappy. With a fixed floorplate, they're about as old school as it gets. Marstar has them.

Ive got one norinco mag that works and the other creates FTE's as seen in another thread. I confirmed it today.

Sean, has mags for 15$ they are made in Italy, and work great, i just ordered 4 of them. They are great mags! They are 8 rounders, and have a small base on them.

I've had good luck with the kimber 7-round mags, and exceptional luck buying mags here on the ee.
